Happy New Year

It's safe to say that many of us are excited to see a new year I know I am. 2025 was a year like no other for me it was the cherry on top of a 3-layer cake of hard. I won't say that 2025 was my only hard year however it just seemed like 2025 was the icing on the cake.

Going into the new year however knew that if I didn't change my mind frame in a drastic way then my cake of hard was just going to keep being layered. I prayed and asked my God how I can never go back to that space and I got an answer.

I decided to sign out of all my social medias for the year yes even my business I had to be honest with myself I started to feel like I was begging for a client with the constant posting content. I get we are in a different time and social media is a marketing tool I just don't want it to be at the expense of my mental stability. 

I entered the hair industry when you worked on your craft not perfecting your content creating skills. I can't lie and say that I haven't noticed the change in my numbers and booking, but I am going to trust my God on this ride. I was blessed with this talent long before social media was a thing I grew my business before social media and my talent still stands.

What's something you know you need to make a change in or on in this new year?
