You Can’t Ride With Me Anymore

You Can’t Ride With Me Anymore

There comes a moment in life where you realize…
you’re tired.

Not physically tired, but soul tired.
Tired of second-guessing yourself.
Tired of overthinking love.
Tired of letting fear sit in the driver’s seat of your life.

And for me—that moment is now.

I’ve made a decision:
fear and past trauma are no longer allowed in my car.

They’ve had their turn.
They’ve grabbed the wheel, hit the brakes, caused detours, and made me question roads that were meant for me.
But not anymore.

Learning to Relax My Nervous System

For so long, my body didn’t know what peace felt like.
Everything felt like a threat.
Love felt like something to analyze instead of experience.
Silence felt like something was wrong.
Consistency felt unfamiliar.

But now… I’m learning to relax.

To breathe.
To stop bracing for impact when nothing is coming.
To let my nervous system understand:
“You are safe now.”

And that safety isn’t coming from other people—
it’s coming from within me, and from God.

Choosing Love Without Fear

I’m in a space of allowing.

Allowing myself to:

  • Give love freely
  • Receive love without suspicion
  • Experience connection without preparing for loss

I’m no longer operating from a place of “what if it goes wrong?”
Instead, I’m standing in “what if it goes right?”

Because the truth is—
fear has never protected me the way I thought it did.
It only limited me.

Knowing Who I Am Changes Everything

When you truly know who you are, everything shifts.

I understand now:

  • I am not easily manipulated
  • I am not someone who can be taken advantage of
  • I am not “losing” when I love genuinely

Why?

Because I stay true to who I am.

And when you move in authenticity, you don’t lose—
you either gain alignment or gain clarity.

Either way… you win.

God Is My Fixer

I’ve released the need to control every outcome.

I don’t have to overthink.
I don’t have to overanalyze.
I don’t have to “figure everything out.”

Because God is my fixer.

If something isn’t right, He will reveal it.
If something needs to be removed, He will handle it.
If something is meant for me, it will flow with peace—not confusion.

So I no longer live in a space where I feel like someone is “using” me just because I’m loving fully.

That mindset came from survival.
But I’m not surviving anymore…
I’m living.

Fear Doesn’t Get a Seat Anymore

Fear had me:

  • Playing small
  • Holding back love
  • Questioning good things
  • Expecting the worst

But now?

Fear doesn’t even get a seat.
Not in the passenger seat.
Not in the backseat.
Not even in the trunk.

Because where I’m going—
it requires peace, trust, and faith.

Final Thoughts

I am allowing myself to be loved.
I am allowing myself to love without fear.
I am trusting my growth.
I am trusting God.

And most importantly—
I am trusting me.

This version of me is softer… but stronger.
Open… but wiser.
Loving… but grounded.

And I wouldn’t trade her for anything.
